One of Kerry’s upcoming films, “Night Catches Us”, will be included at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The festival runs January 21-31 in Park City, Utah…
“Night Catches Us” – Directed and written by Tanya Hamilton, which focuses on the eventful return of a young man to the race-torn Philadelphia neighborhood where he grew up during the Black Power movement. Features Anthony Mackie, Kerry Washington, Jamie Hector, Wendell Pierce, Jamara Griffin.
Lupe Fiasco, singer John Legend, actor Kerry Washington, and several others are set to appear on a History Channel documentary called The People Speak, chronicling the history of the U.S.
The film will feature charter documents, letters, diaries and more, from such celebrities as Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Michael Ealy, Bruce Springsteen, and Jasmine Guy, among others.
The upcoming documentary, set to premiere Dec. 13th at 8 p.m. EST, was inspired by and based on co-executive producer Howard Zinn’s books, A People’s History of the United States, which has sold more than two million copies, and, with co-executive producer, Anthony Arnove, Voices of a People’s History of the United States.
Voices of a People’s History of the United States seeks to bring to light little known voices from U.S. history, including those of women, African Americans, Native Americans, immigrants, and laborers.
The goal of the film is to encourage civic engagement and further history education by bringing the rich history of the United States to life through public readings of primary-source materials.

From Vibe
I have uploaded 10 new photo sessions into the gallery tonight! I will be catching up with event photos from the past 6 months this weekend – stay tuned!
First of all, I want to apologize for the severe lack of updates here… Back in June, I gave this site up for adoption because I didn’t have the time to update it properly. After seeing it sit on the adoptions page, un-adopted and un-updated, I decided to come back to this website and start updating again! I am still juggling my time between online and real life commitments, but I really do adore Kerry, so I’m going to give it my best!
Anyway… I’m currently working on a gallery update, so look for that a little bit later tonight!
Thanks for hanging in there with this site and I hope you return soon!
Kerry was at the unveiling of the EIF service initiative plan last week and I have added 2 photos of her at the event. You can see them both by clicking on the thumbnail image to the right of this post.
